The Council promotes the internationalization of Islamic finance by forging strategic and collaborative partnership between Malaysian and U.S. where its market and society can benefit from the economic and financial linkages. In the interest of shaping the internationalization of Islamic finance collectively, IFIC will provide the cross border connectivity.
The IFIC Council 2015 - 2017 Council co-chairs are Datuk Noripah Kamso, Author of "Investing in Islamic Funds: A Practitioner's Perspective" and Co-Founder of CIMB Principal Islamic Asset Management and Mohamad Nasir, President, American Islamic Economic & Finance Institute.
It is the vision of the Chamber Member Companies Leadership to engage and expand business relationship in the Malaysian/ASEAN and American market. The Council leadership will consist of Members Companies from Malaysia and the United States. The leadership is on rotation basis.
