Steven Hargan, Interim Business Development Officer, Loudoun Economic Board
Having joined Loudoun's Department of Economic Development six years ago, Steve Hargan is the department's interim business development officer. In addition to heading up the department's business development team, he focusses on the county's Federal Government Contractor and Aerospace (FGC/Aero) cluster. Steve's background includes over twenty years experience in the aerospace and defense industry where he held positions in design and systems integration engineering, program management, business development, strategic planning, and program management. His background also includes several years of international business development experience covering Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy (1974), held a Regular Army commission, Armor Branch, and subsequently served for over five years in the United States Army.
